Reading List

How am I counting? – Like I mentioned last year, this is hardly an exact science. Omnibuses and graphic novel collections of individual comics issues are never straightforwardly consistent in terms of the content. To keep things very simple though, this is what I will be doing (subject to change):

• Each novel in an anthology is counted separately.
• If there is a single short story in an omnibus, then it will be lumped together with one of the novels in the omnibus.
• If there is a novella in an omnibus, it will be counted separately.
• If there is a novella and a short story in an omnibus, the same rules as above stand.
• Each collected graphic novel collection will be of six issues each, by numbers. Special issues such as annuals and FCBD issues will be separate. Of course, this is a very gray area (Aquaman Volume 2 and Batman Volume 2 I am looking at you), so this rule is just a guideline.
• All audiobooks and audio dramas, regardless of length, are counted separately.

We shall see at the end of the year!
